FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Bayer said that the head of its consumer health division, Heiko Schipper, would be replaced by Julio Triana, currently the unit’s head of commercial operations region international.
Schipper has asked the Supervisory Board to bring forward the end date of his contract in order to pursue a career opportunity outside of Bayer and will leave the company April 30.
Bayer CEO Bill Anderson has said he is reviewing the company’s diversified structure, considering moves including a potential separation of the consumer unit.
