Kevin Hansen, age 61 of Borculo, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026.
Kevin was born and raised in Holland. He graduated from West Ottawa High School in 1983. He dedicated his days to his work as a mechanic, and he often spent evenings repairing cars for family and friends. As a steadfast member of Borculo Christian Reformed Church, Kevin formerly served as a cadet counselor and deacon, embodying his faith and commitment to his community.
Kevin was a devoted husband to his wife Brenda for 35 years. He was a loving and supportive father who was willing to drop everything to offer his help. He was also an adoring grandfather. Kevin was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Kevin is survived by his wife Brenda Hansen; children: Stephanie Hansen, Tyler & Kaitlyn Hansen, Katie & Scott Brower; grandchildren: Isaiah, Jack and Theodore; his parents: Kenneth & Geneva Hansen; siblings: Gary Hansen, Connie & Dewayne Fritz; parents-in-law, Larry & Rose Redder; in-laws: Doug & Alisia Redder, Dale & Sandra Redder. Kevin was preceded in death by his sister, Barb Hansen.
Funeral services are planned for 11:00am Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Borculo Christian Reformed Church, 6464 96th St., Zeeland, with Rev. Rylan Brue officiating. Burial will be in Borculo Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, November 3, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S State St., Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be given to Cure ALD.
