Houthis fire missile into Gulf of Aden; no damage reported -US military

(Reuters) – Yemen’s Houthis fired an anti-ship ballistic missile into international shipping lanes in the Gulf of Aden on Thursday but the attack did not cause injuries or damage, the U.S. military said.

The missile was seen hitting the water by a commercial vessel, the U.S. Central Command said in a statement, adding that it was the 27th attack by the Iran-backed Houthis on international shipping since Nov. 19.
